George Baldock is on the shortlist for Scottish giants Celtic, according to football insider.
Celtic came close to signing the 29 year-old 12 months ago, and with Josip Juranovic being heavily linked with Spanish side Atletico Madrid this summer, the Glasgow giants are said to be lining an offer up for the Blades right-wingback.
Baldock has been a consistent player for United over a number of seasons, playing over 160 games for the club, and the Greek gained promotion to the Premier League in the 18/19 campaign.
At 29 years of age and with only two years left on his contract, this might be the only chance United get of selling the wingback for a substantial fee. Though I’m not sure if United will look to sell him this summer because their only other right-wingback, Jayden Bogle, is out until October.
Having said that, United could look to balance the books with the sale of George Baldock, after splashing £3M this summer on Anel Ahmedhodzic. The Blades could then look at a free agent to fill the void down the right, maybe someone like Nathan Byrne who was released by Derby earlier this summer.
