Were you one of the unlucky people that had to sit through it?
Thankfully I was otherwise engaged for the first hour or so, so I didn’t get to watch the Denmark v England game the other day, but from what I gather, it didn’t much live up to too many people’s hopes of an exciting game.
It has however, led Blades fan and editor of fanzine Dem Blades to send out, well I’m not going to call it a desperate plea, but it is certainly a strong message to the England boss about what to do for the next international break.
If only there was an English LCB comfortable with advancing up the pitch who plays regularly for a team that finished 9th in the EPL last season, conceding the fourth least goals in the competition. Should Jack O'Connell be in the England squad?

No
Now, this would certainly be just rewards for the work he put in last season (as displayed above), and whilst it might not totally solve the attacking situation (one goal in two games, one of them a slightly dubious penalty) it might help somewhat, and seeing as England are taking on Belgium next who just put five past Iceland, it would certainly help Southgate out in keeping balls out of Jordan Pickford’s (or maybe Dean Henderson, fingers crossed) net.
