I don’t want to sound like the Tottenham Hotspur documentary here, but I think that’s going to be the case.
It sounds as if it’s going to be all or nothing when it comes to the Blades and our pursuit of a certain Rhian Brewster. Or at least that appears to be the verdict given by sports journalist Alan Nixon over the weekend regarding our chase for the 20-year-old, which has been going on for some time now.
The journalist gave an update on the situation over the weekend, and it’s the last line of his summary that I think deserves a lot of attention.
Sheff U. Had meetings with Brewster team. Liverpool will sell if offer is right. Need cash and space to bid for Sarr at Watford. Game on after Brewster out of squad too. Palace and Villa still active if price is ok. Bidding due to commence. Loans don’t really work at this stage.

Would you rather have Brewster on a _______?
Permanent
Loan deal
So by the sounds of it, he’s either going to be coming to us on a permanent deal or he’ll be going somewhere else.
And that’s something I wouldn’t be against, I’ve said before how big a fan of his I am, and if we were to buy him as a future investment whilst we phase out the old guard like Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick, then we could really be onto something for the next four or five years at Bramall Lane.
