Sheffield United look set to lose striker Callum Robinson to Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion with Baggies winger Oliver Burke joining in the other direction – according to West Brom News

Northampton-born forward Robinson, 25, was signed by Chris Wilder in summer 2019 from Preston (after previously been at Aston Villa), in preparation for their first Premier League season. However, he fell down the pecking order and last January was loaned out to the Hawthorns club, where he helped them win promotion to the top flight.

Callum had scored just once for United in 17 appearances. This came at Stamford Bridge where United fought back from two goals to down to draw the match 2-2, with the striker scoring the Blades first shortly after the break.

He is much loved by the West Brom fans after scoring 3 goals in 16 outings for the Baggies, and it is anticipated that he will complete a move to the Hawthorns with Scotland international Oliver Burke, 23, going the other way.

The young Scot has European experience having spent time in Germany with RB Leipzig, Deportivon Alves (Spain), and in his native Scotland with Celtic.

It is expected that the deal will be completed sometime this week.
