It has been a patient time for Sheffield United and its supporters waiting for new faces to join the football club ahead of the Premier League season, which starts this weekend. Like London buses it appears as those transfer dealings are all going to happen at once, making it an exciting time for Blades fans at the moment.

United have already completed the signings of goalkeepers Aaron Ramsdale, for £18,500,000, from AFC Bournemouth, and Wes Foderingham, on a free transfer from Glasgow Rangers in early August.

Supporters have waited sometime before any positive news regarding more incoming players before they start the season at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on 14 September.

Chris Wilder is expected to complete a triple signing of full-backs Jayden Bogle, 20, and Max Lowe, 23, both from Championship outfit Derby County, whom the Blades beat 2-0 at Pride Park in pre-season. The signings have been made to introduce much-needed competition for George Baldock and Enda Stevens.

The Blades are also expected to complete the signing of Oliver Burke, from West Bromwich Albion, with striker Callum Robinson heading in the other direction.
