Sheffield United could be set to swoop for French attacker Fabrice Pancrate.
The winger/striker who has played in Europe’s elite competitions, is available on the a free transfer and is believed to be flying in for talks this afternoon, after Jamie Ward was ruled out for up to six weeks.
Pancrate, with over 100 games for Paris St Germain behind him had a trial at Portsmouth over the summer, and had interest from Stoke City and Hull.
The 29 year old has also had spells at Real Betis, Sochaux and Le Mans, but it’s at PSG that he made his name, with his blistering pace and power in the air.
If reports are to be believed the winger could be with United in time for the trip to Swansea City on Saturday.
