When it comes to ‘limbs’ and ‘scenes’ as the kids like to put it these days, you’ll struggle to find a better of example of them when it comes to games at Bramall Lane.
Although nothing quite tops the pitch invasion at Northampton, but we’re dealing just with home games for the moment.
I’m talking of course about Chris Porter’s late goal against Stevenage during the 2012 League One playoff semi-final. Yesterday marked the eight-year anniversary of the famous moment, and although we didn’t quite get the job done at Wembley a few weeks later, it’s still a very special moment to look back on whenever we can get the chance.
Which promotion was your favourite?
Championship to Prem
League One to Championship
And that’s what the club did yesterday as they posted footage of the dramatic moment and the celebrations that ensued, and it gave fans a chance to relive the moment over again, something that they really seemed to enjoy doing. Although some of them seemed to be more baffled than anything, wondering how a team of the quality we had didn’t get the job done.
When Porter scores, we’re on the pitch!

Was this the most dramatic game you’ve ever seen at Bramall Lane?
