Transfer Business Not Complete As Wilder Sets His Sights On Two More

|

Sheffield United have been busy in the transfer market thus far ahead of the new Premier League starting on 10th August, with the Blades facing a trip to Bournemouth, before entertaining Crystal Palace a week later.

As newcomers to the Division, Blades boss Chris Wilder has been keen to strengthen his squad in a bid to retain their Premiership status come May 2020, and has acted quickly by recruiting seven new players.

To date the Blades have brought in; Luke Freeman (QPR), Callum Robinson (Preston), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Lys Mousset (Bournemouth), Ravel Morrison (free agent), Ben Osborn (Nottingham Forest)and, Dean Henderson (loan, Manchester United).

It appears that Chris Wilder isn’t stopping there, with Sheffield Star columnist James Shield reporting that Sheffield United are to complete two new outfield signings pretty soon, with Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie set to complete a £18million move, and thus break the Blades club transfer record for a third time this summer.
