I said before the game that it was pretty obvious who should replace John Lundstram against Spurs.
Now you start to wonder if the person who replaced him is going to ever be in a position where he’s going to be dropped again, such was his magnificent display last night.
I’m talking of course about Sander Berge.
The club’s record signing was in sensational form as we trounced the North London side 3-1, completing 81 percent of his passes, scoring the opener and providing the assist for Oli McBurnie to score the third, finally looking at home in the middle of the park having been slowly introduced to the pace of the Premier League.
So when the club put out this post celebrating the Norwegian’s display, it was no wonder that fans were so eager to pile the praise on the 22-year-old.
