I said before the game that it was pretty obvious who should replace John Lundstram against Spurs.

Now you start to wonder if the person who replaced him is going to ever be in a position where he’s going to be dropped again, such was his magnificent display last night.

I’m talking of course about Sander Berge.

The club’s record signing was in sensational form as we trounced the North London side 3-1, completing 81 percent of his passes, scoring the opener and providing the assist for Oli McBurnie to score the third, finally looking at home in the middle of the park having been slowly introduced to the pace of the Premier League.

Should Berge now be in the first-team on a regular basis?

Yes

Yes

No

No

So when the club put out this post celebrating the Norwegian’s display, it was no wonder that fans were so eager to pile the praise on the 22-year-old.

What about you? Do you think Berge is bordering on undroppable after his two latest displays?

Berge or Lundstrum, one is class the other is work rate. Unless wilder changes shape of the team, Norwood, berge and fleck have to start. Buy someone to put the ball in the net and we have the making of a good premiership team.

I think both should be fighting for the same shirt.
A loss of form for one and the other plays.

What we are finding out is that they don’t work together, they are too similar.

Lundstram has been able to pull rank I think which has suppressed Berge’s contribution a bit.

Either one or the other playing is fine with me, I just don’t want to see Berge’s pricetag mean he gets sandwiched into the team even when Lundstram is playing
