Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says he is still looking to bring in a striker ahead of the transfer window closing next week.

Whilst Clough says he would like to add a striker, he feels he has enough at the club if the right player doesn`t come along.

Speaking on BBC Radio Sheffield, Clough said, “We are still looking for a striker and we have made a few enquiries.

“We have Billy Paynter, Chris Porter, Shaun Miller and Jose Baxter, we have four so it isn`t desperate but if the right one becomes available we will take them.”

Whilst Clough says he is not desperate to bring in a striker, the fact that defender Harry Maguire is still the leading goalscorer at the club this season with six goals tells me he needs to add to his squad in this area.
