Oliver Norwood and his teammates did not have the best of performances in Tuesday night’s 1-0 win at Ashton Gate, but he reminds us that “it’s a results business”.

The midfielder entered the midweek fixture walking a tightrope as he was on his fourth yellow card. He managed to escape a booking, now he will play on Saturday against Burnley. At the weekend, the yellow card threshold will be upped to ten yellow cards in 37 games which would equal a two-match ban.

Norwood sat down in front of the media to dissect Tuesday night’s win against Bristol City:

“It’s a results business and that’s what we’re here to do, we’re here to win, we’re not here to play well and lose. We’re here to play well and win but if we play rubbish and win we’ll take that too.” [SUTV]

Sheffield United’s deep-lying playmaker has been at the forefront of their attacks averaging 2 key passes per game – they will need to see more of that on Saturday if they want to beat a young but resolute Burnley defence.

Oliver Norwood won Sheffield United’s Player Of The Month award for October.

Paul Heckingbottom today announced some positive fitness news: James McAtee, Iliman Ndiaye and Chris Basham will be available for the game at the weekend after suffering knocks against Bristol City. Tommy Doyle’s calf is in a better state than it was for Tuesday night’s game.

Burnley come into the game with some team selection concerns of their own as Josh Cullen is a doubt with a lingering injury, while Josh Brownhill will miss the game with a one-match suspension for accumulating five yellow cards.
