Strong words, but sooner or later we’re going to have to see those words turn into action.

Now I just want to say from the off, that I’m not going to get too disappointed in a result like the one on Sunday, I’ve spoken before about our expectations for this season and I’ve expected us to take a little bit of a step back from last season, so if we can turn things around, we’re probably going to be where we were predicted to be some the end of it.

But that turnaround needs to come quickly, and speaking to the club after the game, Blades boss Chris Wilder certainly believes that the club will be able to turn things around as the players keep pushing to get results:

The Blades will finish ______ than last season?

Higher

Higher

Lower

As I said though, these results do need to start coming sooner rather than later, because the more we get results like this, the more anxious that people might start to get that we won’t be able to turn it around.

And if we don’t turn it around, we might find ourselves in a bit more of a struggle to get out of the hole we’ll find ourselves in.

What about you? What do you make of Wilders comments?
