Well, I suppose this really is a show of just how bad the incident was.

When you’ve got fans from across the football spectrum showing their support for you, then something must really be going badly.

Sheffield United were robbed of three points on Wednesday night when a goal that clearly went over the line wasn’t awarded by the referee.

Speaking to the media after the game, Oliver Norwood, the player whose free-kick led to the whole incident decided not to put too much blame on the side of referee Michael Oliver and his assistants, instead, turning his attention to the technology in place to help them.

“To be fair to the referee, it’s not him is it? It’s the technology behind it, his watch hasn’t worked. Don’t understand why we have VAR, it’s a clear and obvious error. Why can’t they just say it’s a goal.”

Who should take the blame for what happened?

The tecnhology

The officials

And his comments garnered support not just from those who wear the red and white stripes, there were fans from other clubs who wanted to join in and support Norwood’s message.

What about you? Who do you blame the most in this situation? The technology or the officials?
