We didn’t pick up a win, but at least we managed to keep a clean sheet.

Something this Sheffield United team has done a lot of this season. And whilst clean sheets usually go down as a goalkeeper stat, I suppose we need to look at it in the same way for defenders as well, and one man managed to get his first in Sheffield United colours on Wednesday.

Jack Robinson, a January signing from Championship side Nottingham Forest made his first start for the club, having previously made a couple of substitute appearances in our FA Cup campaign. Coming in as a replacement for the injured Jack O’Connell, Robinson gave a pretty good account for himself in his first game for us.

He won three tackles, six aerial duels and had a pass completion of 81%, earning him the highest rating on WhoScored.com for the game amongst his fellow Blades.

Are you excited to have Premier League back?

Yes

No

So it’s no surprise then that fans were full of praise for his performance when the club decided to pay tribute to him on social media yesterday.

What about you? What did you make of Robinson’s performance?
