Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan has expressed his delight at bagging a place in round 4 of the FA Cup following Tuesday’s victory at Loftus Road.

‘We are delighted to be in the next round of the cup and overall it was a really good win.

Despite leading 3-0, the Blades almost let the lead slip, something that Morgan himself was disappointed with.

‘They shouldn’t have got back in the game and we were disappointed with the two decisions for their goals.

‘The Gaffer said afterwards that the only blemish on the night was not getting a clean sheet, but it is one of those things and the most important aspect was the result.’

It sets up a fourth round tie against Premier League Bolton Wanderers, a place where the Blades claimed victory just two years ago, which the skipper believes will breed confidence into the side going into the game against Owen Coyle’s new side.

‘We want to win every game and perform to a high standard consistently, so now we can look forward to a trip to Bolton and I am sure we will give a good account of ourselves.’
