Could he be the answer to our problems?

Well if you take a look at his record, I wouldn’t hold my breath, but given the numbers the rest of the squad have put up this season, he wouldn’t exactly be too much of a step back would he?

Sheffield United’s on loan forward Callum Robinson has had a rather successful week, as he scored one of the goals that ensured West Bromwich Albion will be playing Premier League football next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game (via The Star), the forward spoke about what his plans were for next season, and he made it quite clear where he would like to be, but that there could be a few twists along the way.

“The plan if [sic] that my team is Sheffield United but I’ve got to wait what happens. In the summer, in my head, I will go back to Sheffield United.”

Robinson’s situation really is a fascinating one on the surface, because it’s hard to tell what is going to be best for him.

What should happen to Robinson this summer?

Keep

Keep

Loan

Loan

Sell

Sell

Do we keep him on board this summer and add him to the talent that we already have up top, or do we send him out on loan again and hope that he develops further to help us in the future, or do we sell him and use the money to invest in the rest of the squad? Each argument has their merits and their downfalls.

And with the transfer window set to open on Monday, I’m sure we’ll get ourselves an answer soon enough.

What about you? What do you make of Robinson’s comments? And what do you think should happen to him next season?
