Looks like we’ve got another person on the bandwagon.
I just hope that we end up being on the right side of it rather than being totally embarrassed come the end of the season, but hey, I suppose that’s part of the fun of it. With reports seemingly leaning towards the prospect of Rhian Brewster finally joining (indeed he may have joined by the time you read this), attention is now turning to how well he’s going to fit in with us.
I’ve said right from the start that I’ve felt he would make a great addition to the club, and whilst I think the initial fee might be a little too high, I stand by my call.
And responding to a fan on social media, journalist Alan Nixon, who’s been on this since the beginning, also feels like this is a match made in heaven, with one man in particular set to benefit:

Now given Chris Wilder’s rotation philosophy, it will be interesting to see if this move brings a consistent pairing up top for the campaign or if he carries on with his ways. Either way, at least we’re getting close to putting one of the longer transfer stories of the summer to bed, barring any late changes.
