I think all these kind words are fully deserved.
And at the same time, I don’t think they’ve gone far enough such as been the service that he’s given us over the years at Bramall Lane, but they’re still incredibly nice all the same.
Saturday apparently marked Chris Basham’s 32nd birthday. At least that’s what the club’s social media feed posted, despite the fact his profile on the club website and Wikipedia clearly states that he was born on July 20th, something that some fans were quick to point out.
His Wiki is wrong.

Or perhaps such is his status at the club right now that he’s like the Queen and he gets multiple birthdays.
Will Chris Basham be a part of Premier League Team Of The Year?
Yes
No
Regardless of the fact, the club dedicated to put out not just one, but two posts commemorating his ‘special day’ on Twitter, and it gave fans a great opportunity to share some love and appreciation for the centre-back who at times has been crucial to our success this season.
A lot of Blades including myself (I’m not ashamed to admit) thought Bash might have a difficult season. I’m so glad he has proved me wrong and more. Bash & Blades go together like Fish & Chips.

Think the goal against Leeds is one of the most important goals in our history

Actually don't know what we'd do without him

What about you? What are your thoughts when you think of Basham?
He’s a poor mans Emlyn Hughes, and he lifted the European Cup!
