Sheffield United striker Sam Vokes has been called up to the Wales squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifying game with England.
Vokes, who played an instrumental role in Saturday’s victory over Leeds was not in the original squad, but following an injury to Robert Earnshaw, has been included thanks to ex-Blades boss Gary Speed.
Wales are currently bottom of the group without a point on the board, but this is the first time Speed has been in charge for a competitive match.
