Sheffield United had to be content with a point against Fleetwood at the weekend, as the hosts battled back to claim a point.

A first half lead, which was deserved, wasn’t something we could hold onto at the Highbury Stadium with Fleetwood finding an equaliser early in the second half to see the game end in a one-one draw.

We made all the early running with Doyle almost opening the scoring early on, but having beaten Fleetwood ‘keeper Maxwell his effort couldn’t beat the frame of the goal as this came back off the woodwork.

The lead did come though within the opening 10-minutes, Maxwell was beaten again and this time the ball ended up in the back of the net as Harris (8) drove home from the edge of the area to put us one-up.

Fleetwood had to press with two long-range Proctor efforts the best they could manage in the first half but as the pressure grew Morris’ cross was headed home by Sarcevic (53) to level it up at one-one early in the second half.

Proctor had another chance, working his way into the area before firing across goal whereas an unmarked O’Grady could have restored our lead but the Brighton man was denied his first goal for us by Maxwell as the game ended one-one.
