Scottish side Ross County have today confirmed the signing of Jake Eastwood on a season-long loan.

Eastwood has been with the Blades since a 10 year-old kid, coming through the academy ranks to the senior squad. The 25 year-old recently just signed a 2 year contract extension with the Blades.

Through the last couple of years Eastwood has had various loan spells, and has often been called upon by clubs as being an emergency goalkeeper loan.

Ross County’s manager Malky Mackay has spoken about the announcement of Jake Eastwood:

“Jake is a goalkeeper that has tested himself across different leagues during his career so far and has worked with some really good goalkeepers and coaches.”

“We are delighted he has joined us for the current campaign, and I would like to thank Sheffield United for seeing Ross County as the place where Jake can really challenge himself this season.” [Ross County Website]
