And the signings just keep coming.
Who needs a transfer window to keep the ‘signing’ emoji in work? We can still use it even if it’s a familiar face to the club.
The club announced yesterday that veteran forward David McGoldrick had signed a new contract at Bramall Lane, meaning that he is now set to stay with the Blades until the summer of 2022.
32-year-old McGoldrick was a key part of United’s climb out of the Championship last season, scoring 15 goals in the league, although those numbers have dropped off significantly this season, with only one goal this campaign, that coming in the FA Cup win at Reading.
Will David McGoldrick reach five goals by the end of the year?
Yes
No
I’ve been on record as saying that I’m not overly a fan of McGoldrick this season, but it seems as if I’m very much in the minority on the matter, because the news of his signing was met with plenty of enthusiasm from members of the Blades faithful.
what a player. still cant believe the transformation between Ipswich & us

One of the fittest players, one of the most intelligent players. Wont age badly. Great deal for our false 9.

Deserved. Even if he's not a regular he knows the mentality required to be at the lane and can pass that on

What about you? Are you happy with McGoldrick’s new deal?
