Promotion from the Championship may have faded a long time ago, however, the Sheffield United Women team, coached by Barnsley and Charlton Athletic midfielder, Neil Redfearn, will be aiming to end the season on a high note with their two concluding fixtures with Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

The Bladettes are currently fifth in the Championship table with two victories from the final two games and could see United finish a respectable second. They will travel to Prenton Park, home of Tranmere Rovers this Sunday (24th April) at noon before hosting Crystal Palace the following Sunday, 1st May (2:00 PM), at the Technique Stadium, home of Chesterfield FC.

Neil Redfearn’s side has already faced Liverpool twice this season. A record 4,100 spectators turned out at Bramall Lane on 9th October to witness a 2-0 defeat in the league. The two sides then met a month later in the Continental Cup, with the Blades bravely holding out for a 0-0 draw.

Liverpool has already been crowned champions and will play amongst the elite in next season’s Super League whilst the Blades come into this fixture with one loss in their last six outings and have won their two matches back-to-back against Bristol City and Lewes.

Supporters wishing to attend Prenton Park tomorrow are advised that tickets can be purchased on the day at £6.50 for adults and £4.00 concessions, whilst children can attend for just £1.00.
