Sheffield United have had a bid accepted to bring Michael McIndoe back to Yorkshire.
The 27 year old winger made his name at Doncaster Rovers, before a move to Barnsley, and following a spell with Wolves finds himself at Bristol City.
However, today, the first day of the summer transfer window, United have moved a step closer to the winger’s signature.
City boss Gary Johnson has said that he ‘expects the deal will go through in the next couple of days.’
With the capture of Kyel Reid confirmed, McIndoe looking likely and Glen Little on trial it will lead to speculation regarding David Cotterill’s future at Bramall Lane.
The Welshman was signed for an undisclosed fee last summer but has had a very stop start season in his first full year as a United player.
