Greg Halford has completed a move to Premiership new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers for £2million.
Halford, who spent last season on loan at Bramall Lane was believed to have been a target with one website claiming it was a done deal already.
However, the versatile midfielder followed in the footsteps of Andrew Surman and Kevin Doyle by moving to Molineux.
The ex Sunderland man played 41 times for the Blades and scored some memorable goals, most notably the header in the Play Off second leg against Preston North End, and a fantastic twenty yard strike against Ipswich Town.
