Chris Morgan is the biggest absentee for the Blades as they travel across South Yorkshire to face Barnsley.
Morgan was booked during the game with Newcastle United last week which means he’s unavailable for the game at Oakwell, and if whispers are to be believed, there could be a message for the Blades captain to see on television.
With Kyle Walker also missing, as well as doubts over Taylor and Stewart, the Blades back line, is likely to be patched up with Ryan France starting at full back.
Richard Cresswell is still missing from the side, as is Jamie Ward, but the Northern Ireland striker could be available following the international break. Lee Williamson could also be in line for a place on the bench.
Reds defender Stephen Foster will miss out for the home side, with Bobby Hassell or Neil Thompson expected to deputise.
Rob Kozluk will line up against former side, as will Andy Gray, and the injury hit defence will face an in-form Daniel Bogdanovic who has hit two goals in his last three games.
