Lots of Blades fans have been praising the words of defender Ben Osborn.
The defender hasn’t had the easiest of times at Bramall Lane this season. Having arrived in the summer from Nottingham Forest, the 25-year-old hasn’t been able to make any significant steps into the Sheffield United first team, managing only ten appearances in all competitions.
Given that he’s played 90 minutes in both of our F.A Cup games so far this season, there’s always a chance that he’ll be given a runout tonight against Reading, but even if he doesn’t, it doesn’t seem as though he’ll be all that bothered about it.
Will Osborn be seen more in the first-team next season?
Yes
No
Speaking to the press ahead of tonight’s game at the Madjeski Stadium, Osborn seemed to be focusing more on the team rather than his own minutes, which is an attitude that has gone down incredibly well with Blades fans on social media.
Very impressed when he came on against Brighton & what a great attitude to have. Makes our team strong having players like Osborn when not guaranteed a place. 👍👍👍👏

Ben typifies what professionalism is. Well spoken lad, who fits in well and does whats asked of him when called upon

Great attitude. Competing with Fleck and Stevens for a starting place always tough but looked good when brought on against Brighton.

Seems like he’s really got his head screwed on. No sulking. Just works hard and does a job when asked too.

It’s a great attitude to have, and a good example of the kind of team that Chris Wilder is putting together this season.
