Sheffield United loanee Kyle Bartley has spoken of the learning curve involved with playing high tempo Championship football.

‘This spell has been a massive learning experience for me personally and I have enjoyed every minute to be fair. I am a passionate player and hopefully I will develop into a stronger player as I learn from my mistakes.

‘All the lads have been fantastic with me, ‘Morgs’ and ‘Nugsy’ (Nyron Nosworthy) are always giving me advice and that is crucial for my development.’

Speaking of this season, Bartley doesn’t think the chances of making the play-offs are over just yet, and despite defeat at home to Scunthorpe on Saturday, the defender thinks the Blades can still make a push.

‘It is going to be a long hard run in now but we still believe anything is possible, especially in this division, because it is so unpredictable.

‘We were disappointed with the result against Scunthorpe because it would have been a massive three points that would have kept the pressure on the top-six, but we must knuckle down and keep going.
