Sheffield United go into Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby against Barnsley with just one full fit striker.
Darius Henderson is struggling, Ched Evans is likely to be out, and Henri Camara is set to miss the rest of the season, leaving just Richard Cresswell for the Blades.
For Camara, the situation is worse, as it could see the end of his Blades career. After being signed in October, the striker has suffered with a number of injuries, and this latest one could be the most crucial yet, if the management don’t see him as a viable option next season.
‘He could be out for the duration’ added Blades boss Kevin Blackwell.
With the loan window slamming shut last Thursday, there isn’t an option to bring in cover, so it appears Cresswell will have to carry the side for a couple of weeks yet.
