It has been confirmed by Danny Wilson, as he told The Sheffield Star, that he wants to sign Mark Howard permanently.
The goalkeeper has been training with The Blades recently and if a deal can be agreed Wilson wants the former Blackpool man to stay with the club until the end of the season, at least: ‘I’d like Mark to stay. Whether that be until the end of the season or for longer than that.
‘He’s a good ‘keeper, he’s definitely got something about him but we knew that anyway because he’s someone we’ve been aware of for quite a while and already seen in action.’
There is no further news on David Weir though, another that has been training with The Blades recently.
