Danny Wilson, talking to The Sheffield Star, has reiterated his desire to see Kevin McDonald extend his Sheffield United contract.
The Blades manager is happy with the progress being made in the contract talks with McDonald and is confident ‘something with be sorted’ soon: ‘hopefully something will be sorted-out soon. Kevin enjoys being here with us and we enjoy having him.
‘Everything seems to be positive.
‘He’s shown exactly why we wanted to bring him here in the first place and it getting better and better all the time.
‘Kevin’s done well.’
If the club wants him to stay at Bramall Lane and he wants to stay with the club then this should be something that can be resolved as Wilson hopes, and sooner rather than later.
