Summer signing Lee Williamson could require an operation.
Williamson, whose only appearance in red and white to date was on the pre season tour to Malta, is thought to be suffering with a back problem similar to what kept Gary Speed sidelined last season.
In Blackwell`s post-match interview on Friday evening, he mentioned that Williamson met with a specialist on Thursday and the full extent of the problem will become clear on Monday.
