Sheffield United make the journey across the M1 from South to West Yorkshire where they will face Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium in the 12:30 kick-off tomorrow.

The Blades triumphant 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night, was the United’s fourth successive victory in the Championship and has put them within touching distance of the Play-Offs. Billy Sharp netted goals in each half to secure the victory, whilst the visitors saw Jake Livermore dismissed on 39 minutes. The victory lifted the Blades to tenth in the league, but a victory at Huddersfield tomorrow would see United leapfrog several clubs and take the sixth spot before the regular 3.00 pm matches kick-off following the conclusion of the Yorkshire Derby.

Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom will be without strikers Rhian Brewster (hamstring), and David McGoldrick through injury. T6he latter suffered a blow in the Blades 2-0 victory over the Baggies three days ago.

The Blades chief is likely to field the starting XI, which began the fixture against West Brom, except McGoldrick, who could be replaced by either Oli McBurnie or youngster Daniel Jebbison, accompanying Billy Sharp in the attack. Meanwhile, Jack Robinson and Oliver Norwood are likely to feature against their former club.

Huddersfield Town will be looking to complete the double over their Yorkshire rivals tomorrow afternoon, having won 2-1 earlier in the season at Bramall Lane on 22nd August.

The Terriers were fancied for the drop in pre-season but have astounded the neutrals and are currently unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions having won 7 and drawn 6 during this fine unbeaten run. Having beaten Burnley away from home, and Barnsley in the FA Cup, Town are still going strong, and face Nottingham Forest in the next round. In the Championship, their epic form has guided manager Carlos Corberan to fifth in the table.

The hosts are expected to be without defender Levi Colwill (knee), and midfielders; Alex Vallejo (knee), Ronaldo Aarons (leg), and Faustino Anjorin (ankle), are all absent through injury. Meanwhile, defender Pipa (knock), is doubtful. The Terriers are likely to feature former Sheffield United keeper, Jamal Blackman, on the substitute’s bench.
