Sheffield United striker Danny Webber has joined Premier League side Portsmouth on a free transfer.
Webber, who was released on a free by the Blades at the end of the season has been signed to cover the mass exodus at Fratton Park.
The ex Manchester United frontman claimed earlier in the summer that he had received offers from around the world but was waiting on the right move, despite interest from Swansea City and Middlesborough.
The 27 year old has signed a two year deal, and will provide cover up front after David Nugent joined Burnley last week in a long term loan deal.
