Sheffield United have been dealt a massive blow to their season, after Harry Redknapp recalled full-back Kyle Walker.

Walker, who has been a permanent fixture in the Blades back-line this season, as one of the stand out performers for Kevin Blackwell’s men.

Blackwell, who himself tied up deals for two defenders on Monday’s deadline day, will be relieved to have cover in the shape of Nyron Nosworthy and Derek Geary, but it’s sure to come as a huge blow ahead of the Championship tie at Vicarage Road.

Tottenham rid themselves of two right backs yesterday, Alan Hutton to Sunderland, and Kyle Naughton, who despite being linked with a return to Bramall Lane, sealed a deal to Middlesborough.

Nosworthy could make his debut tonight, but Kallio isn’t available after the signing missed the deadline. Meanwhile, Naysmith, Taylor and Seip are still missing, but Lee Williamson is fit to face his former side.

Watford should have their two deadline day signings available, but Will Buckley, an integral part of Rochdale’s impressive season who signed last week, will miss out with a thigh strain.
