It’s a quick turnaround for the next league 1 game with Sheffield United back in action with in a home game on Sunday.

Sheffield United will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Scunthorpe at Bramall Lane this afternoon, so long as the game is able to go ahead as it’s in serious doubt at the moment.

The game is subject to a 10am pitch inspection following heavy snow in South Yorkshire.

We will be missing Chris Basham (suspension) following his sending off in the two-one defeat at Port Vale on Boxing Day, his sending off will see him serve a three-match ban.

Paddy McCarthy’s loan from Crystal Palace expires after this game, with him then set to return to his Premier League club.

Ryan Flynn (hamstring), Craig Alcock (back), Ben Davies (foot) and James Wallace (groin/hamstring) are all out again.

Scunthorpe hope to have Luke Williams (thigh) back but Billy Kee has ‘a personal issue’ so he isn’t available. Scunthorpe also have illness in their squad to content with according to their manager Mark Robins.
