Sheffield United’s 2014/15 league 1 season gets underway with a game at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
A battle of two of the potential heavyweights of the Division has seen the sky sports cameras come calling for Bristol City’s visit to the Lane, meaning it is a 12:15pm start.
Summer signing James Wallace (groin) is struggling and looks as though he’ll miss out on making his Blades debut.
Also doubtful is fellow summer signing Michael Higdon (fitness) but Nigel Clough’s others recruits Chris Basham, Andy Butler, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Ben Davies, Harrison McGahey and Marc McNulty are all in line to start.
Bristol City themselves have six new signing to select from, with the lot fit and available but Karleigh Osborne (leg gash) is set to miss out.
Nothing is won or lost as such from this game but it’s a great chance for a marker to be put down, but either side!
