Sheffield United have moved their League One clash with Carlisle United back 24-hours.

With United set to face Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday March 9th, the game with Carlisle that was scheduled for Tuesday March 11th will now take place at Bramall Lane on Wednesday March 12th.

Whilst we are all enjoying the blades continued involvement in the FA Cup, it is causing problems to an already hectic schedule.

United already have to play eight games in March and if they FA Cup clash with Charlton was to go to a replay, then that will take place on Monday March 17th, the same night that United were due to travel to Preston North End for a League One encounter. If a replay is required then the game with Preston would revert back to Saturday March 15th after it was recently moved to the Monday for live coverage on Sky TV.

Let us hope the bad weather can stay away with United already facing a minimum of 16 games in the final 10 weeks of the season.
