Sheffield United are once again amongst the best supported clubs in the Football League despite their third tier status.

The Football League have just released the figures for last season and United were the best supported team in League One with only eight sides enjoying a better average home attendance in the entire Football League.

United averaged 18,609 fans at Bramall Lane last season, just 89 down on their first season in League One.

Blades fans also travelled well, with an average following of 1,648 fans with only four clubs having a better following.

An average of 705 visiting supporters visited Bramall Lane last season.
