Sheffield United boss David Weir could be ready to make a move for striker Marlon King.
The experienced striker is a free agent after being released by championship side Birmingham City at the end of last season.
Weir is desperate to add firepower to his shot shy attack and King, who scored 14 goals in 30 appearances in the championship last season, could be seen as the answer.
The 33-year-old has scored 32 goals in 79 appearances in the past two seasons for Birmingham and he would bring a wealth of experience to Bramall Lane.
