On loan Sheffield United winger looks like he is enjoying football again after returning to Walsall on loan for the remainder of the season.

Brandy, who left Walsall to join United in the summer, scored a first-half hat-trick for Walsall in their 5-1 win at Notts County on Saturday.

It was the perfect hat trick for the winger, who opened the scoring when he rounded the County goalkeeper before slotting home with his left foot.

He scored his second of the game just past the half hour when he smashed home with his right foot from the right angle of the six-yard area.

Brandy completed his hat-trick when he headed home at the far post from a Craig Westcarr cross.

The winger had a difficult first half of the season at Bramall Lane. Despite making 15-appearances, he fell out of favour with new boss Nigel Clough after picking up his second red card of the season in the defeat at Shrewsbury Town in early November. Clough condemned the player for his act of petulance and he made just two more appearances for United before returning to Walsall on loan.

Elsewhere, Tony McMahon made his debut for Blackpool on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Doncaster Rovers. McMahon, who is on loan at Bloomfield Road for 28-days also picked up his ninth booking of the season and he is now just one yellow card away from an automatic two-match suspension.

Lyle Taylor looks to be enjoying life north of the border once again. The striker, who joined United in the summer after hitting 29-goals for Falkirk last season, started on Saturday in Partick Thistle`s 0-0 draw at St Mirren. Taylor, who only scored two goals for United in the first half of the season, has netted three times in six games since joining the Scottish Premier League side.
