It wasn`t all good news for Sheffield United on Saturday as Paul Brayford and Jamie Murphy picked up injuries in the 1-0 win at MK Dons.

Both are set to undergo scans this week as they were forced off in the first half.

Brayford lasted only 17 minutes before being replaced after suffering a calf injury whilst Murphy was replaced just before half time with a groin injury.

United went into the game on Saturday without influential defender Harry Maguire who failed to recover in time from the knee injury he picked up in the win at Colchester United in midweek.

Boss Nigel Clough says that Maguire could be ready for the midweek clash with Peterborough but he may decide to stick with Matt Hill who replaced Maguire in the side on Saturday. Hill could deputise once again in midweek with Maguire just one booking away from a two-match suspension. A booking in midweek would rule him out of the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

Stephen McGinn missed his third game in a row as he continues to struggle with a back injury.
