Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom has been hit with a defensive dilemma ahead of this weekend’s SkyBet Championship clash with Millwall.

Sheffield United are scheduled to host Millwall at Bramall Lane tomorrow (Saturday, 5th August 2022), kicking off at 3:00 PM.

Ahead of this weekend’s clash with Millwall, the Blades face several defensive dilemmas’. George Baldock is expected to retain his place at right wing-back, however, on the left flank, Enda Stevens is nursing a calf injury. He is likely to be replaced by Max Lowe.

The heart of the defence, at centre-half, United are without John Egan and Jack Robinson through injury – the latter is expected to be sidelined for the next three months.

Heckingbottom will be boosted by the return of Bosnian defender Anel Ahmedhodzic, who is expected to make his debut tomorrow. Rhys Norrington-Davies is also expected to deputise for the injured Robinson, whilst Ciaran Clark, on loan from Newcastle United, will be expected to take Egan’s place in what is a frustratingly patched up defence.

The starting XI that could face the Lions might be.

Wes Foderingham

Anel Ahmedhodzic                 Ciaran Clark               Rhys Norrington Davies

George Baldock                                                                                            Max Lowe
