Sheffield United continued their fine form with a sixth straight win in all competitions with a 1-0 win at Colchester United.

The blades left it late as a penalty from Chris Porter with just three minutes remaining ensured the points returned to Yorkshire.

Porter scored from the penalty spot just four minutes after coming off the bench as a substitute and he fired home after Ben Davies had been fouled in the area.

The win for United sees them move into the top half of the League One table for the first time since the early weeks of the season.

  • Now in the top half. Unbelievable to think a few weeks ago they were second bottom. The hammering at Crewe seems a long time ago now.

  • Having been there and suffered the Crewe performance, its brilliant to see the complete turn around at last nights game. Confidence is back,
