Sometimes it’s hard to pick out a standout performer, sometimes not. The Sheffield United MotM from our one-on win at Bramall Lane against Southampton on Tuesday in our league cup win could well have been one of those occasions but because people put themselves in the frame because of the win, even so the winner was fairly unanimous….

Given the options of those involved, be that as part of the starting XI or having come into the game to make the impact as a sub (obviously a player that comes off the bench to be voted as such would have!), a Sheffield United Man of the Match has been found.

This was McNulty, who with 50% of the voting gained this quite convincingly ahead of Basham on 20%.

Poll findings:-

McNulty 50%
Basham 20%
Flynn 10%
Reed 10%
Sub:-Wallace 10%
Sub:-Adams 0%
Sub:-Baxter 0%
Doyle 0%
Campbell-Ryce 0%
Cuvelier 0%
Murphy 0%
Howard 0%
McEveley 0%
Harris 0%

It took a team effort to beat the Premier League outfit, but given he was the scorer of the winning goal to book our semi final place it isn’t too much of a surprise that he got this really is it?

Would McNulty wining the MotM vote be one that you would agree with? The only way to let us know would be by having your say below!
