NYRON NOSWORTHY : The Sheffield Star maintain that United are still interested in taking the versatile defender, but the combination of Sunderland`s £500k fee and Nosworthy`s wages may be the stumbling block now that Billy has decided to stay.
THREE TRIALISTS : A right back from Belgium, a left back from France and shortly a defender from Spain, are on trial. Little is known about whom these three are, the Spanish defender is said to have played 70 games for Athletico Madrid.

Plymouths record signing fell out with Sturrock and was sent out on loan. Known for his “tenacity” the strong rumour is that he will arrive on a season long loan shortly.
JAY DeMERIT : Strong rumours that the USA World Cup central defender will be arriving at BDTBL next week on trial. Left Watford at the end of last season, a fee agent.
DANNY BUTTERFIELD : Long time Palace servant with over 230 appearances. Right back that can play in midfield, and scored a 6 minute perfect hat trick against Wolves in FA Cup last season.
ZURAB KHIZANISHVILI : 28yr old Georgian defender will be released from his contract if he can find a club. Blackwell had previously enquired about a loan last season.
KYLE BARTLEY : Nothing being said about his possible return, the player has said he would welcome a season long loan back at Bramall Lane.
MARCEL SEIP : Had 4 months at Bramall Lane last season, speculation that he might return on a permanent basis seems to have gone quiet, the player himself has said that he would like to come back.
MICHAEL MIFSUD : Some talk from McCabe about the possibility of the Maltese player coming to United. Mifsud is currently back in Malta playing for Valletta. Wouldn`t be surprising to see him link up with the warm weather training, a commercial opportunity that surely wont be missed!
CARL DICKINSON : The 23yr old left back spent 3 months on loan at Barnsley last season. It was said that United wanted the player on a season long loan. Strong rumours from the Stoke side a few weeks ago, nothing recently.
PADDY McCARTHY : Palace central defender is 27, ex Leicester and Charlton. Came back into the Palace side with some excellent performances after a series of shoulder injuries restricted appearances over the last two seasons.
THE VITANAMESE 2 : Teenagers who won a TV reality show. Commercial and future football opportunities, the lads are 16 and 17.
