Now pre-season friendlies are often lacking a little in the way of quality and excitement, but last nights game at Millmoor took it to a whole new level.

The Blades walked away with a 0-0 draw in a game that contained little for me to write about, even after having had a night to think about it!

Although the Blades were poor there were moments of neat passing and one of the main positives was the performance of Webber, who looked sharp and skillful throughout.

The Blades poor performance should take nothing away from Rotherham though, who thoroughly deserved a draw and could have won it with a late header that went wide of the upright.

Mark Robins side passed the ball well, kept possesion as often as they could and closed the Blades down quickly. It was a promising performance as their new season in League 2 (Divison 4) looms.
