Sheffield United striker Jordan Robertson headed home a 59th minute winner on his Bury debut to hand them their first victory of the season.

As you may remember, when Vital Sheff Utd reported Robertson’s transfer on Friday, we did say that he has a knack for scoring on his debut, and he did just that, as he did at Ferencvaros, Southampton and Dundee United before that.

It took a late penalty save by Wayne Brown to secure victory for the Shakers, but boss Alan Knill was pleased with Robertson’s show:

‘We were delighted to see Robertson score. He’s a good player and we are grateful to Sheffield United for allowing him to come here because a lot of teams wanted him.’

The majority of United’s loaness are currently with Ferencvaros who lost their first game last week despite Blades midfielder Sam Wedgbury getting on the scoresheet.
