The game between Preston North End and Sheffield United that was scheduled to be played at Deepdale on Saturday 8th October has beeen postponed. League rules state that if a team has three or more players missing due to international commitments the game can be called off. With Ian Hume away with Canada this weekend and Jamaican international Keammar Daley in Honduras, Preston already had some crucial members of their squad missing. Today’s inclusion of Connor Mclaughlin into the Republic of Ireland Under 21s squad has now brought Preston’s tally of internationals to three. The game will now be played at 7 45 on Wednesday 19th October.
